IT WAS EASY to predict that the Steven Slater story would quickly turn into a media circus. After all, America was in desperate need of a fresh hero / villain to obsess over, and, eventually, give a reality show to.
There’s really nothing left to say about the whole Slater and the slide incident, so I figured I’d just feature what I believe to be the two best things I’ve seen on the interwebs relating to the JetBlue flight attendant’s hilarious/ridiculous “meltdown” the other day.
The first, a Slater-modified version of the back-of-the-seat emergency evacuation instruction card:
And the second, a computer-animated dramatization of the incident from Taiwan’s NextMedia Animation studio, complete with siege music and a not-so-subtle inference to Slater’s (presumed) homosexuality:
